The business case for mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
12/06/2018 @ 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

What does poor mental health mean to your business?
An introduction to Workplace Mental Health business support.
Poor mental health is the main cause of absenteeism and lost productivity in the UK, costing the economy in excess of £30 Billion per year.
Despite the evidence and statistics many businesses are still in the dark about the impact of mental health on their business and the many benefits of investing in support and professional development.
Every business has a ‘Duty of care’ to look after the health and wellbeing of employees both physical and psychological. Do your managers have the skills and experience to spot the signs of mental health and provide support? Do you have a mental health policy and strategies to support wellbeing?
The return on investment in training and development is very positive and businesses can expect to be more resilient, have happy and engaged staff and good staff retention. In turn this can result in increased productivity and profitability.
Your employees are your most expensive and important asset, don’t risk losing great employees through being reactive instead of proactive.
