Greater Manchester Food Poverty Alliance Launch
May 8 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The Greater Manchester Food Poverty Alliance will involve people from all walks of life, to co-produce a Food Poverty Action Plan for Greater Manchester.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss what we could achieve together, to explain how the alliance will work, and to invite participants to join one of the sub-groups. When you book you will be invited to express an interest in one or more of the alliance sub-groups – you will not be held to these expressions of interest, they are just to help us plan the meeting.
We ask every organisation that works with people who have lived experience of food poverty, ‘experts by experience’, to encourage some of them to attend the meeting.
Food will be provided free of charge, and travel costs can be reimbursed for people who would not otherwise be able to afford it, if they present tickets, receipts or other evidence of expense.
